Okay, so the first time I had their Zinfandel I was not impressed, but hanging out with someone last week and having a few glasses, I was floored.

The boquet assaults your nose with power and spice, which is followed by the taste of black cherries with a covering of allspice.  We don't need to talk about color.  What we need to say is that this is an inexpensive full bodied zin that could only be enhanced by putting in a stick of cinnamon and chilling with your crew telling all sorts of crazy stories.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
