A saucy little traditional method (champagne method) sparkling wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, I figured that I would try this, as I love some of the sparklings wines from Gruet, which is also in Alberquerque.  This wine has demure scents of strawberry in the nose and a little bit on the palate.  Honestly, I think I am catching a cold so I will have to try this one again.  However, I taste what also seems like a little bit of honeysuckle as well as some muted strawberry in this one.  For $13 this is not a bad purchase, especially if you were to jazz it up with a liqueur.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
