I first came across St. George wines while stopping in to talk with a friend. A wine rep was there and had at least four offerings from them, and I was fortunate to sample every one of them. And I can say that each was truly delightful.

The best thing about this wine is that for the price, it's great. As they say, citrus and pineapple aromas with a nice, creamy finish. Hey, isn't pineapple a citrus fruit? Anyway, that taste does have slight hints of a Jolly Rancher pineapple, and the finish is great.

Buy a case, as you'll find it great to serve for cookouts and picnics, as well as just for one or two persons.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
