I decided to try another Pinot Grigio while I was looking for a great Bordeaux Blend from Chile -- they were out of it -- so in eyeing a bunch of different ones, I chose to try this one.  It is very bright, with tastes of pears and green apples, with acidity familiar the latter, but it also has some aspects of vanilla, if not something else, which rounds out the taste after about five seconds and alters the experience.  The color is a pale yellow with greenish aspects, the mouth has just a little heft, and the feel is slightly silken.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
