Sometimes arrogance is to be appreciated, and what would be more bold than to name a wine that starts with your name? But in this case, it works!!.

I first came across Masi when I tried their Amarone at a wine tasting event last year, and I came to love them at that point. I even tried their Campiofiorin when I couldn't find this release from them.

Masianco is what's called a SuperVenetian, and I am sure that you have heard of the SuperTuscans. It's 75% Pinot Grigio and 25% Verduzzo, which I expect is the Italian name for Verdejo -- but I could be wrong. Giving off a wonderful aroma, it has an even better taste, basically the second grape cuts the Pinot Grigio the right way, giving you a unique taste that has both tropical and citrus hints and undertones.

This wine is definitely a winner.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
