A label can easily sell a bottle of wine, but the wine
itself makes you purchase it again. When you look at the
label of this wine, you see a kid doing a cannonball dive
into water. Well, taking this wine is like that; a major
thrill.
This wine reminds me of the complexity of Lapis Luna
Romanza, but instead of being mostly zinfandel, it's
primarily Cabernet (85%), with 12% being Syrah, and the rest
(3%) being Merlot. The grapes are from several different
places in California; 63% Sonoma,19% Mendocino, 15% Napa, 3%
other.
This wine has moderate tannins but on a scale from 1-5,
it ranks somewhere between 3 and 4 in regards to it's body,
meaning that while it's technically a dry wine, the body
gives it a nice, bold juicyness. The flavor is full of
black cherries and it also has a whiff of cocoa powder in
it. It actually warms your whole head when you take it in
your mouth (I could even feel some heat in my ears).
I highly recommend this wine, and now I think I know what
I want to do with the left column on the front page of the site.
