This was the wine that I have been anticipating having
again since the first time that I had it two months ago.
This wine is the perfect mixture of dry and wet. When you
taste it, you are hit with an overpowering pepper that
blends into a concoction of dark red fruits; plums/currants
and cherries.
It is both dry, yet somewhere between medium and full
bodied, with low tannins and yet a taste that begs for
something red, whether sauce or meat, and spicy. This
actually would go phenomenally with cured meats, or equally
with a dessert that makes use of cinnamon. Ginger and
nutmeg based dishes would also be great mixtures as well.
