Pinot Grigio is a wonderful grape, that is if you do something wonderful with it, and this wine is another fine example of an Aussie opus!

You can definitely taste both straw/grass and lemon, while the finish rounds out something more exotic like papaya and pineapples. It has a wonderful medium body which seems to coat your throat for several seconds after it hits your stomach.

At under $10, this wine is a steal, and a refreshing angel. It will be hard for other pinot grigios to compete against this one. And yes, I gave it a ten!

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
