I've found a new grape!

Saturday, May 16, 2009

Actually, it's an old grape, but one that is a native Italian grape, and supposedly it's similar to Viognier. Supposedly, it is from western Sicily, dry with a grapefruit style citrus aspect and a nutty flavor (I had to search around the web for quick notes on this one).

Anyway, I have it as part of a Chardonnay/Insolia blend that isn"t bad.

We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
