I actually had the 2012 of this wine and was so consumed that I didn't review it, however, I am not going to make that mistake with this one.

This wine hits you, with some very concentrated dark fruits, especially dark cherries, which with the high alcohol literally sits on the back of your throat for well over two minutes.  Really, there is nothing else needed to say about this wine.  It's not over the top, but it's that thing that has narrowed it's focus and just hits you like a laser beam.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
