I have been messing with River Road for the past year, especially liking a Pinot Noir from them.  This time around, I saw that they had a sparkling wine done in the traditional method with all three 'Champagne' grapes.

This wine is 61% Chardonnay, 21% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier.  It's light with a floral scent and a taste which comprises hibiscus and apricots.  This is great for an inexpensive American sparkling [done right] and might just make its way into my regular lineup.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
