I needed a Zin.  Okay, how many times have you heard me say that?  Well, I would have went with a Bordeaux blend but didn't see any that I could trust.

If you want to talk about legs and oomph, this wine has it, and the finish [because of the alcohol] easily goes for more than two minutes in the back of your through [the alcohol that is].  The color is a purple that is not too deep and that I would say has a little brown in it, but the taste is dark cherries and maybe a little dark plum as well, however it is easily overshadowed by the alcohol.

This is one of those wines that will get better with age and I would be scared and equally happy to see what it tastes like in ten to twenty years.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
