I thought that I would do some writing, but I was slowly seduced by this delectable she-beast of a wine that my thoughts soon just got swept away like sand at the beach during high tide.  This wine is spicy and filled with blackberry and raspberry, but the spice is more on the order of what you pay extra for, being a combination of allspice and nutmeg.  It wanders over your tongue so eloquently imparting essence of leather and tobacco over an undercurrent of dark fruit.

This is a wine that allows you to sit back and look at life through different colored lenses, letting you see things for what they truly are and not letting other emotions get in the way.  This is a great wine and should be recognized as such. While it isn't my favorite Zin, it has thrown its hat into the ring.  I am wondering what it would taste like with five years of aging.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
