So, I am at Cesari Winery in Cavaion Veronese having a lovely tasting of the wines after touring the cellar and the the production facilities.  This is what Vivianna calls a 'meditation Amarone' as you really should sit down and think about life with this one.  The taste is distinctive Amarone with a fruit display of black currant and a finish exuding of that and smoke which resonates at the back of your throat for at least a minute.  This is a wine that you should take your time with, and you can tell that they take care with this one.  Actually, I can still feel this one heating up my belly.

80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella.

Production of this vintage is just under twenty-eight thousand bottles.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
