I am not a fan of dry wines, but sometimes they do hit the spot. And I also tend not to trust what's on the back labels of most wines, but Eric Miller is usually dead on when it comes to his products.

As printed, this wine is great chilled and reminds you a light white wine, but given some time, you start to experience the aspects of the red grapes used in its construction.

Like a nice red wine, this does warm my ears up quite a bit, but it's light enough for most drinkers. Fruity, but not too fruity, it's the perfect cross of all things that goes great with fresh fruit, cheeses and nice salads. Hmmmmm, I taste strawberries!

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
